How can Winter get over without having this Badam Ka Halwa with Gur ?
Ingredients :
Approx 1/2 cup Almonds (soaked in warm water)
Approx 100 gm Ghee
1/4 cup Wheat Flour (Gehu ka Atta)
200 ml Milk (i.e diluted with water)
Approx 100 gm Jaggery (Gur)
Cardamom Powder
Saffron Strands (Kesar - soaked in warm milk)
Chopped Pistachios (for garnish)
Method :
Churn 1/2 cup Almonds (soaked & skin removed) in mixie
Keep aside and heat the pan
Add approx 100 gm Ghee
Add 1/4 cup Wheat Flour and roast well until it's golden-brown
Further add churned Almonds
Keep the flame slow to medium and roast well for 5 min
Add 200 ml Milk (i.e diluted with water)
Give it a good mix and add approx 100 gm Gur
Now keep mixing it on slow flame until gur melts
Further add Kesar, soaked with warm Milk
Add Elaichi Powder and mix it
Halwa is done, take it on a serving plate
Top with some chopped Pistachios
Enjoy Delicious Gur Badam Halwa warm
