Crispy Karari Aloo Tikki Chaat (no deep frying) If you follow this trick, then you don’t need to deep fry aloo tikki and still get crispy karari tikki without any need to deep-fry. Enjoy Aloo Tikki Chaat. Ingredient : For Aloo Tikki:- Approx 400 gm shredded Potatoes (pressure cook up to 2 whistles, do not overcook) 2 tbs Rice Flour 1 tbs Corn Flour (alternatively bread crumbs can be used) 1 small finely chopped Ginger Knob Finely chopped Green Chillies (as per taste) Finely chopped Coriander Leaves Salt as per taste 1.5 tbs Oil For Chutney:- 1-2 spoon Water 2 tbs Tamarind Pulp (Imli) 1 Garlic Clove, slit 1/2 tsp Dry Ginger Powder (Sonth) 1 tsp crushed Dry Red Chillies Salt to taste 2 tbs Jaggery (Gur) For Serving:- Curd (Dahi) Green Chutney Boiled Chickpeas (Chole) Masala Peanuts Pomegranate Seeds Sev Coriander, chopped Beetroot, shredded Chaat Masala & Red Chilli Powder to sprinkle Method : To Make Tikkis:- Take a mixing bowl Add 400 gm boiled shredded Potatoes Add 2 tbs Rice Flour Add 1 tbs Corn Flour Add 1 small finely chopped Ginger Knob Add finely chopped Green Chillies (as per taste) Add finely chopped Coriander Leaves Add Salt as per taste Mix everything well with the help of hands Try making round tikkis from this mixture Refrigerate them to firm up To Make Imli Chutney:- Heat the pan, add 1 spoon Water Add 2 tbs Tamarind Pulp (Imli) Add 1 Garlic Clove Add 1/2 tsp Dry Ginger Powder (Sonth) Add 1 tsp crushed Dry Red Chillies and mix it Add Salt to taste Add 2 tbs Jaggery (Gur) Add a little Water and cook until Jaggery melts Wait for a boil and turn off the heat To Fry Tikkis:- Heat 1.5 tbs Oil in a pan Place all tikkis on it Flip and cook tikkis from both the sides until golden-brown Remove all tikkis on a plate and keep one tikki in the pan Gently press the tikki and roast until crunchy (Make more tikkis with the same procedure) For Serving:- Take 2-3 tikkis on a serving plate Add some Dahi, Imli Chutney, Green Chutney, Boiled Chole, Masala Peanuts, Pomegranate Seeds, Sev Garnish with some Coriander & shredded Beetroot, Sprinkle Chaat Masala & Red Chilli Powder Enjoy this Utterly Delicious Aloo Tikki Chaat . 00:00 - Making Crispy Karari Aloo Tikki Chaat 00:19 - Making Aloo Tikki 00:23 - How to Boil Potatoes 00:57 - Adding Rice Flour 01:14 - Adding Cornflour 02:07 - Shaping Tikkis 02:12 - Meghna's Quick Tip 02:24 - Refrigerate Tikkis 02:26 - Making Sweet-Sour Chutney 03:34 - Shallow Frying Tikkis 03:44 - Cooking Tikkis Twice 04:31 - How to get Crispy Tikkis 05:00 - Making Chaat 05:19 - Adding Sweet-Sour Chutney 05:30 - Plating 06:10 - Meghna Tastes the Aloo Tikki Chaat Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MeghnasFoodMagic/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/meghnafoodmagic Instagram: https://instagram.com/meghnasfoodmagic Website: https://www.chefmeghnas.in
