Tiramisu Recipe | How to Make Tiramisu
STRAWBERRY TIRAMISU - I was waiting for strawberry season to make this variation to classic Tiramisu. Given it’s Christmas season, an excellent dessert to have during the holiday season; took me few minutes to make. Best part is that you can even gift it to friends and families in small containers. Recipe requires very few ingredients , all of which you will get online easily-
- Finger Biscuits (you can use any other biscuit too)
- Mascarpone cheese
- whipped cream
- strawberry jam
- fresh strawberries
- Icing sugar
- Vanilla essence
- Lime juice
Steps :
- chop strawberries; some large and some very small for layering
- take strawberry jam and add few drops water and mix to make strawberry syrup- keep aside
- take mascarpone cheese, add vanilla essence (keep it little, too much would make it bitter) and lime juice
- add icing sugar
- mix everything nicely
- add whipped cream - and mix with cut and fold method- it helps make the mix light and airy. And keep aside
- time to assemble
- now in a tin or bowl or in short glasses, layer the Tiramisu finger biscuits, drizzle strawberry syrup, surround with cut strawberry and layer with mascarpone-whipped cream cheese mix. (Piping bag would be good to use to keep dessert nice and clean)
- Decorate with strawberries and mint leave
