When you get sweet cravings, keep this healthy bar in the fridge. Pumpkin seeds with its anti-inflammatory abilities can help maintain good function in the liver, bladder, bowel, and joints. Pumpkin seeds are high in magnesium, which most people don’t get enough of in their diet, helps regulate blood sugar levels, lowering your diabetes risk. Also Sunflower seeds are high in protein, help skin, good for heart, thyroid maintenance & also has vitamin E. Plus dates which too is high fiber and dark chocolates are heart healthy, absolutely nutrition powerhouse it is. Enjoy.
Ingredients :
- 1/2 cup mildly roasted Pumpkin Seeds.
- 1/2 cup mildly roasted Sunflower Seeds.
- 10-12 soft seedless Dates.
- 1/2 cup grated Dry Coconut.
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence (optional).
- 200 gm Dark Chocolate.
Method :
- In a chopper, take 10-12 soft seedless Dates.
- Add 1/2 cup grated Dry Coconut.
- Coarsely grind the mixture and keep aside.
- Further mildly roast 1/2 cup Pumpkin Seeds & 1/2 cup Sunflower Seeds.
- Add it in the chopper.
- Add 1 tsp Vanilla Essence (optional).
- Grind again to make sticky and sand texture.
- Transfer this mixture on a flat greased tray alongwith a parchment paper in it.
- Flatten with the help of spoon.
- Melt 200 gm Dark Chocolate and pour it on the flattened mixture.
- Top with some Seeds.
- Refrigerate for half an hour to set.
- Further cut the bar into pieces.
- Enjoy Super Delicious Dates & Seeds Bar.
