VEG LASAGNA ROLLS I BAKED VEG LASAGNA
Be it Christmas Party or New Year or any celebration at home, Lasagna Pasta is one dish that every one loves to have. It is easy, cheesy and gives an option to moms to add veggies in it. Like I have done today; adding Spinach inside these creamy cheesy Baked Lasagna. If you don't have OTG, you can even bake these in a kadai or microwave convection mode. Ingredients:
For Boiling Lasagna Sheets:
Lasagna sheets
Salt
Oil
For Preparing Marinara Sauce:
Olive oil
Garlic
Blanched Tomatoes
Chilli Flakes
Mixed Herbs (or Oregano)
Salt
Sugar
Fresh Basil leaves ( Or Dry Basil Leaves)
For Preparing Cheesy Spinach Sauce:
Spinach (Finely Chopped)
Cheese
Butter
Garlic
Chillies
Mixed Herbs
Salt
Crushed Black Pepper
2 tbsp Maida (or Wheatflour)
Milk
Method:
For Boiling Lasagna:
Boil the water and add salt.
Add oil so it does not stick.
Now add the Lasgna sheets to the boiling water.
Do not overcook the sheets or you will be unable to roll them.
Cook till 30% to 40%.
Remove the lasagna sheets when necessary and brush with oil instantly.
For Marinara Sauce:
Take some olive oil in a pan and add garlic
Do not overcook the garlic.
Add blanched tomatoes
Now add chilli flakes and mixed herbs (or Oregano).
Add salt and a pinch of sugar to balance the sourness of the tomatoes.
Add fresh Basil leaves (or Dry basil leaves).
: Tear the Basil leaves and avoid chopping them or they will turn black.
For Making Cheesy Spinach Sauce:
Take some butter in a pan.
When the butter melts, add green chillies and garlic.
Do not overcook the garlic and add finely chopped spinach quickly.
Add some mixed herbs and salt.
Add crushed black pepper.
Once the spinach is well cooked add 2 spoons of maida (or wheat flour).
Cook tillmaida loses its rawness.
Gradually add milk.
Add Britannia Laughing Cow Cheese for a creamy texture.
Mix the cheese in the sauce and you'redone.
Making Lasagna Roll:
First spread some Marinara sauce in a baking tray to avoid pasta getting dry.
Spread Creamy Spinach Sauce on the Lasagna Sheets.
Now place another sheet on top of it and spread some Marinara sauce on top of it.
Make rolls.
Place the rolls in the tray. ( You can cut them and place them in the tray if your tray is small like mine).
Before baking spread some more Marinara Sauce to avoid the rolls getting dry.
Top it with loads of cheese.
Cover with aluminium foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180-200 degrees for 12-15 mins.
For Plating the Lasagna Roll:
Firstly spread some Marinara sauce.
Now place the rolls.
Garnish with a Basil Leaf.
