FLAVOURFUL MULTI PURPOSE CHILLI GARLIC OIL When you go to restaurants especially pizza joints, you see these chili garlic oil used to pour on pizza or noodles or pasta. I use them in fried rice, with momos, and even in dip / hummus too. Add this spicy twist to your dinner or lunch and make home cooked food more interesting. - in a mixing bowl, take finely chopped 5-6 garlic cloves, 1 small onion, a small piece of ginger and coriander roots (optional) - add 3-4 tbs chilli flakes - add 1 tsp sugar & salt per taste - mix everything well - now pour one cup piping hot odourless cooking oil - while oil is hot, 1 tbs white sesame seeds, 2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder & 1 tbs soy sauce - let everything cool down - flavourful chilli garlic oil is ready - store it in a glass jar upto a month - you can use it in fried rice, plain rice, noodles, various dips including hummus, drizzle over pizza, stir fried veggies, pasta & salads also.
