Just like other surfaces it needs to be cleaned and maintained on a regular basis. But, with so many different products and processes available, it can make things really confusing. So, how do you care for the leather in your car? With leather products it’s always a good idea to be extra cautious and test for color fastness and compatibility on a small, inconspicuous area. Begin by gently vacuuming. If you are using a plastic nozzle, make sure it’s not rough so you don’t scratch the leather. A soft bristled brush can be a great tool to help you collect dust and debris as you vacuum. Next, evaluate how much cleaning is needed, the type of appearance you want and the type of application you prefer.
