Mel Clarke's video: Mel Clarke - We need to try and change our GP practice back to the good old days

Sat on a plane with mum waiting to take off to go to Marbella, mum wanted me to share her frustrations with all of you lovely people with our local GP practice. Our GP has implemented a new system which doesnt allow you to book an appointment in advance, you have to call every morning from 8.30 to try and get an appointment that day. And guess what if you call for 45 minutes and when you do get through you are told sorry there are no more appointments and you need to call tomorrow morning at 8.30....guess how that makes you feel.......lousy right? Change is good and I appreciate they are trying to make their practice more cost effective, but this change is not effective for the customer and raises stress levels unnecessarily. We need to try and change our GP practice back to the good old days all for the power of the pound......come on GP's lets make Britain great again!
