So today was a double whammy in my household. My son who is probably the most laid back person I know, received a job offer from Google!! Yes Google! Jake decided against Uni when he left college and instead went into a full time job with a digital marketing agency. He beat graduates to get the job aswell and was the youngest there. That contract finished 2 months ago and after applying for a fgew more jobs started to think he needed a degree as it opens up more opportunities. I tried to explain that going to uni actually held me back, but he seemed adamant. Then out of the blue he received an email from Google saying he had been selected for an interview. He had applied for their apprenticeship some months before and had completely forgotten about it. So he went to London the day before our trip to Spain had the interviews, got friendly with a couple of the other candidates anfd had a drink with them, and came home. All through this he has been saying he doesnt want to live in London and the commute would be too expensive on the starter wage they are offering. But after visiting the offices he was suitably impressed, and his new mate Max, a fellow entrepreneur was dropping his salary by £21k to take this position as he can see the huge potential (something Jake chose to ignore my view on) so this held a lot of weight for Jake. So today he received an email to say out of 3,500 applicants he had secured a place...how amazing is that? So lets see what he chooses to do. And then later I finally received a phone call from the company I had an interview with recently, and they confirmed they wanted to offer me the job, with a formal offer coming out in a couple of days. So it was quite a day today, and it proved to me that the 'Ask & it is Given" totally works. Set your intention and let go and see how the universe conspires for you :)
