Although we went to the same middle school, it wasn’t until high school that Gabi and I became very good friends. Gabi saw that I was going through a really tough time and took it upon herself to befriend me. My childhood friends knew me back when I was naive and innocent. They help me preserve my identity...that spark...that little girl that is still inside. Who is a friend you are grateful for? Always remember to have an attitude of gratitude because attitude is everything. Practicing mindfulness meditation and affirmations for positive thinking help strengthen a thankful heart.
