No one can deny the impact she has made on the beauty community as a woman of color. Specifically, as a black woman. She may not have been the first, but she is amongst the few whose voices are heard. I am grateful for the public figure/influencer that is Jackie Aina because she is empowering women that look like her and I to not settle and to expect more out of brands. Women who otherwise would remain an afterthought. Now that I have gotten that off my chest (hahaha), who is a public figure and/or influencer you are grateful for? Always remember to have an attitude of gratitude because attitude is everything. Practicing mindfulness meditation and affirmations for positive thinking help strengthen a thankful heart.
