Aaanyways, I sadly must tell you, that Stormblood's whole mainstory is now officially the most underwhelming part of the game for me. I consider ARR to be okay and definitely adore Heavenward, but SB leaves this taste on my mouth were I can't even tell if there's anything I truly love about the flavor. Nothing really stays in my memory as it lacks to have a long-lasting impact on me--- in other words, apart from a few important central-points, you could cut the whole 4.x and I wouldn't even notice this. --}The latest patch couldn't rescue the story for me, as all that teasing about mysterious-hooded-guy continues at least until 5.0, which is unnecessary when we count one plus one together (and pay attention to the newest discoveries made by determiners; for those who refuse to guess the obvious identity of that man). Seriously, it's a shame. As the job- plus beast-tribe-quests were to my liking, Ivalice was a solid thing despite suffering noticeable under the it's-not-part-of-the-mainstory, AND Omega – being my favorite aspect of SB – had included Midgardsormr, Stormblood was apart from the MS not weaker than HW; it just couldn't entirely develop the bicycle once more. --}So, yeah, here I am; sitting in some kind of time's-end-mood and having no idea, if I can even be excited for Shadowbringers. Due to suffering under the additional fact, that my beloved Viera got no males after Square Enix decided to not immediately tell the boy-fans about the cute detail of adding only girls. I mean... Two stupid months, SE let the people wait and pray. (That NPC speaking about male Viera was not sounding like “You won't get them.”, since it's the exactly the lore of our tom-cats. If SE thought they could kill hopes with that: Nope, that plan backfired.) How should I be glad, that I get what I wanted, when I as a member of the bunny-camp can't ignore all morales? I supported the race, so I cannot abandon those who wanted the males as well. It's as simple as that; I have no heart made of stone, even though I'm no sentimental woman in 99,9% of my life. Well, hey, speaking about these tiny 0,1%, hm? I love G'raha Tia. I could never remember his given name and called him therefore simply 'Tia', but he was the first story-relevant NPC-male-Miqo'te I ever happened to see. In fact, he's THE first male NPC of the kitty-race I saw four years ago, since I did the Crystal-Tower-raid back then before having even touched 3.x's story. (Which is special, as you needed a complete pre-made alliance--- thanks to nobody doing anymore these old raids, on normal terms. We had no raid-roulette in these old days. So, it was some kind of Christmas-Special organized by a few fellow German-players, that lasted for an entire evening.) I always hoped we would see him again for another raid, but untouched as Crystal Tower was, it didn't look like SE had any plans for him. Although it was moving to see Cid's optional memory in one of the quests for Omega's Alphascape, so that G'raha was at least not forgotten. --}But hey, since the first fan mentioned the resemblance between hooded-guy in that one artwork and our Tia, there seemed to be hope. I mean, it was a stretch, yet not impossible. Admittedly, all these English-fans who denied the idea made me originally a bit skeptical--- however, not anymore. I am pretty sure by now, that it is him. German texts for the win, my friends. Our dub/text in FFXIV is close to the Japanese one – and there are a few keywords from the good old CT-raid, that match exactly with the stuff hooded-guy says. Also, look at the ingame-model for the mysterious man and try to convince me, that you do not see the very same catboy-baby-face which G'raha has. If it is not the very one tomcat we have seen going to sleep in the CT, than it is a later or alternate version – which wouldn't change the fact that it IS him. So, long story short, this remix exists thanks to 'speculations'. The simple opportunity, that I can create some fan-content for my beloved catboy-NPC, was too tempting to be ignored.
