Melvin Wei's video: Super Bloom Between Temescal Canyon and Lake Elsinore CA

This is a video, of mostly driving footage, documenting the super bloom along the stretch of the I-15 freeway between Temescal Canyon and Lake Elsinore in California, USA. We've had a lot of rain and cold in Southern California in the winter of 2019, and now that the weather has warmed up the wildflowers have given a spectacular show, causing massive traffic jams in areas such as this. Golden orange poppies dominate the landscape in this area on west-facing slopes that receive more warmth in the afternoon sun. There are also patches of yellow that are probably mostly from wild mustard, and some thin patches of blue and purple from other species as well.
