I've never gotten this far with a mango seedling before in my 3 years of attempts, both online and offline! I'm in uncharted territory right now, watching the second set of leaves come in. There are a few keys to my success thus far: having a 50% clay soil/50% sand mixture as the growth medium, having a deep enough soil mass, misting every few days at night to wash off the parasites and raise the humidity of the air around the plant, imidacloprid treatments, and of course having germinated the seed indoors with much higher night time temperatures than the seedling would have gotten outdoors.
