Melvin Wei's video: Growing Dragon Fruit from Cuttings Days 0-26

I've never eaten dragon fruit, at least not in my entire adulthood, but the fruit on the tag looks beautiful, and I'm sure it must cost $9/pound at the supermarket for good reasons! This is a cactus species, unlike most of the other plants that produce fruits for our consumption which are standard trees and vines. Succulents such as this one are more exotic looking and durable in this climate than most non-native vines and fruit trees. This dragon fruit cactus has added a lot of biomass in it's first few weeks compared to most of the other plants I've grown, and in the middle of a cold winter too! The potting mix came wet out of the store, and it's cold now with very little direct sunlight per day, so I don't think I'll need to water it for a few more weeks.
