I tried short updates on my plant growing series for a while to see if that would enable me to update frequently, but that didn't work so I'm back to making long updates again. This multi-month update makes the series current again. I would highly recommend iron phosphate pellets as a quick and easy solution to snail problems. Just have 3-5 pellets scattered on top of the soil for your potted plants and throw pellets out into the wild perimeter beyond your land, or on the borders between you land and your neighbors and that should keep them at bay for good. Throwing the snails away or smashing them is a neverending task. We eat iron phosphate in our foods but for snails it is somehow a poison of unknown mechanism. Once they eat the bait pellets, they slow down, stop moving, and stop eating, dying days later. The snails infesting my potted plants died in 2 days. I moved to a townhouse! My plants will get full sunlight from now on. So far my plants have spent all of January 2022 adapting to full sun and the different conditions. Granted, it is the coldest month of the year so we won't know if there's a dramatically positive response until March or April methinks.
