Control groups (Control + Number Key to assign and number key to use) are most useful when you assign your artillery groups separately to quickly fire on targets without losing focus on the front. What I like to do is assign my tanks to a number key, then my halftracks to another, my fighters, etc so that I can make a coordinated push without having to waste time moving my mouse around. This in essence gives you a faster reaction time and allows you to adapt to the combat situation much quicker. ALWAYS Try to keep your infantry in command range as this significantly improves their damage output and resistance. +2 Vet is no joke. Useful hotkeys to know: F (Fast move) C (Line of sight tool) Z (Hold fire tool) Y (Fast move unload) X (Spread command, ported from Wargame) Cntrl + H (Efficient Shot toggle) Cnrtl + any number key (Assign unit group hotkey) assigned number key (instantly selects said unit group) Shift (Hold this while selecting units to see their orders, also can queue multiple orders while this is held) Spacebar (instantly move the screen towards an action point on the map, this will show up on the right side of the screen under the minimap) 1v1 is a good way to practice your micro skills against other opponents. However, learning is best done when playing with other people so find some friends who also have the game or hop on the official discord and you can learn while playing along with more experienced players. Divisions all have their own strengths and weaknesses and most perform better either in open ground or in close quarters urban combat. Can push through both towns and open ground. Your MG42s will be great for locking down approaches to a town and your support guns will easily kill soft targets that they spot. Build up a Stugs and Flak 43s and you will slowly push forward.
