Ethen was 8-years-old when he was diagnosed with DIPG cancer. Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) are highly aggressive and difficult to treat brain tumors found at the base of the brain. They are glial tumors, meaning they arise from the brain's glial tissue—tissue made up of cells that help support and protect the brain's neurons. DIPG is incurable. Ethen sadly lost his short but brave and strong battle on May 7, 2014 at the age of 8. All images belong to their rightful owners.
