This little camera really gives video recording, a whole new experience. I got fujifilm XT3, Canon M6 MkII and iPhone 12 Pro + Smooth Q2, but all cameras. these made video recording, tiring, as the gears are heavy not always stabilized and also costly. Main advantages: Light weight, holding it will not get tired as handle is slim Gimbal stabilization wide angle, even wider with wide lens attachment included 4K 60p, video quality is really sharp even in normal mode (will do more testing) Time, motion and hyperLapse Face detection and tracking, beauty shots Fast start up time Everything can be packed in its case Good mic quality Responsive touch screen Able to take close up shots well Main Disadvantages: Tripod mount cap is really difficult to remove! A lot of features cannot be activated in 4K 60p, like face detection, tracking, beauty shots, high quality mode Not weather resistance Front facing camera still showing mirror image, thus letters display are flipped, but during video playback they are all normal. Cannot direct transfer of 4K 60p file from pocket 2 to IOS devices, have to transfer by using card reader connected to IOS device, I am using iPad Pro 12.9 3rd gen. Unable to change battery!!! So will pocket 2 be your cup of tea, since pocket 2 launches there is a great price drop for pocket 1, if you do not require the latest features on pocket 2, pocket might be a good buy too, check out the comparison below.
