Mentoring Partnership's video: Where Mentoring and Youth Mental Health Meet: Session 2 Recap

@Where Mentoring and Youth Mental Health Meet: Session 2 Recap
Connection is critical to our well-being and young people are no exception! The Mentoring Partnership and Jewish Healthcare Foundation teamed up to explore the role strong relationships between adults and young people and between young people and their peers play in youth mental health in a 4-part community discussion series: Where Mentoring and Youth Mental Health Meet. In this second session, we explore social media's impact on youth mental health and well-being. Candice Biernesser, PhD, LCSW, postdoctoral scholar at the University of Pittsburgh, teaches us how to support and promote positive social media usage for young people. We also hear from Center of Life and Repair the World about their approaches to incorporating mental health and wellness into community-based teen engagement programs. Check out this playback to add some new tips and resources to your youth support toolbox! Additional Resources: MentoringPittsburgh.org JHF.org WeRepair.org CenterofLife.org
