Meppity's video: My Accepted CALARTS Portfolio Application Sketchbook Advice

💛💛PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION💛💛 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I wanted to create this video because I haven’t seen anything similar for Calarts applicants. There’s plenty of Calarts sketchbooks available to view on the internet but hardly any Portfolios (which is actually a more important section because they get looked at first in the decision-making process). When I was applying, a video like this would’ve been super helpful. I had no idea how many pieces I should submit, how to balance observation with creative etc. I hope any future applicants that are feeling as anxious as I was can be reassured and find this video useful. - Despite this being almost 30 minutes, I still feel like there was so much more I could have said. If the demand is high enough, I can make a more in depth follow-up video. I also plan to do a more in depth walkthrough of my sketchbooks once those are returned to me in the summer.
