A: It's a big ol' question with many answers but at a base level: A portfolio that demonstrates technical skill, creativity, fresh perspectives/ideas and PERSONALITY. - Q: How do I get good at art? A: Hoo boy! Another big question! I think pairing a study of the fundamentals (anatomy, lighting, colour theory etc) with experimentation and pushing boundaries. Study your fave artists and break down what makes their work stand out - try and reverse engineer their art and borrow elements for your own creations! On top of that, embrace your personal voice! Your style is what you have to say about the world, not just the brushes you use. There's so much more than that but this is a start. :D - Q: Do you do commissions?
