I had already started recording this song last year, prior to it being requested, actually - but then, Spirit in the Sky came along, and made sure it would take a while until I'd do another song from Norway. But of course, the delay was mostly about me trying to get that fiddle riff right... or at least acceptable... ^^ Those double-stops still got a little screechy here and there. Also, funnily enough, the content-ID system matched this song with a Finnish cover version from "The Smurfs"? But both versions are owned by Sony, since they took over EMI, where Fairytale was originally published first.
