On my quest to get at least one song from each country up on the channel as quickly as possible, the first choice for Switzerland ended up being from 2014. Another round of me playing instruments I don't actually know how to play. ;) Naturally, the fiddle is back, as is the banjo, last featured on Victor Crone's "Storm", Estonia's entry from last year. This one is not a terribly hard song to sing - but the challenges of the instrumental parts definitely make up for that! Especially since my banjo is a guitar banjo, i.e. tuned differently than the one used in the original, which makes this specific pattern slightly harder to play. My guitar and my fiddle couldn't agree who should get the solo, though - so I had them battle it out against each other. ^^ The result is somewhere between Korpiklaani and DragonForce, I'd say.
