I realised I hadn't covered any songs from 2005 yet so far, which left a gap between the years that I did cover. So we might just as well start with the winner. I gave the violin parts to the bouzouki (together with the guitars), as well. I could have tried to play that part on the electric violin, as it appeared on other previous covers of mine, to get even closer to the original. But violins are a much greater "staple" of Eurovision overall than bouzoukis, so I'm pretty sure the fiddle is still going to make enough appearances on other songs. Why not give the bouzouki a little more time to shine whenever it's possible? ^^ And also, the bouzouki is kind of a lot easier to play than the violin... like... a lot! ;-)
