This is a rough layout done by hand for a 18" X 28" poster. This is the first step in doing a complex illustration with Adobe CC Illustrator of a Gaslight-style poster. This is a personal challenge to myself to try and make a poster with Adobe Illustrator that will have an engraved or woodcut look. I will consider it successful only if it looks like the real engraved posters of the late 1800s.
