Michael Hartigan's video: Hartigan s Live Loop Jams - 8

Part 8 of my 52-part live looping improv series. For the year of 2015 I'm planning to upload one of these every Saturday. Lets see if I can pull it off! The idea is to use a looping machine to create grooves and solo over them with my voice, keyboard, and whatever other instruments I may have lying around. I'm also going to make an effort to keep it fresh and not repeat myself too much. It's a good opportunity to explore (and maybe invent) some new styles and instrumental combinations. The Keyboard Fundamentals series is a weekly video in which I take a close look at a single element that's been a big part of my playing, and show how I use it and where it can fit in different musical situations.
