Michael Hartigan's video: The Sockhop Mystery

In this video, I talk a bit about one of my early influences: A midi file called sockhop.mid It was one of a bunch of demo files that were included in a software package with Midisoft Studio. I've recently been thinking of just how influential these midi files have been on my playing and I'd love to know more about the people who sequenced them. Searching the internet has turned up very little information about either the composers of this music or the Midisoft company, which is no longer around. I'm hoping that by reaching out with this video, I might meet some people who know a bit more about the history of this tune and the folks behind it. Thanks for watching!
