Michael Milman's video: Our Cities are In Danger Enough is Enough

Enough is enough! NYC, Chicago, but Seattle, and especially Portland is out of control and enough is enough! These cities were beefing with the fact that they didn’t want Trump intervening by sending in the national guard, but it’s like, then take care of it yourselves! You are more than capable of doing so! The police in these cities are strong and sophisticated enough. And even if you need help, then there’s nothing wrong to ask of it from the federal government. Maybe this is the case because these are liberal cities, so they do not want to look like they’re cooperating with Trump, especially when it comes to bringing in troops to go against the rioters. Fine, then why are you silent? Why not speak out and condemn the rioting and the violence? Probably because they’re afraid that will compromise the 2020 election. If that is the case, which it looks like it probably is, then that is totally messed up! You’re letting your cities burn and allowing people to die all because of an election? Trust me, the same people that hate Trump and won’t want to vote for him will feel the same way on November 3rd. But there are people who don’t like Trump but don’t like what is happening either. And because these are all liberal cities, those same people who don’t like Trump might sell their soul to the devil, because they’ll assume that if democrats don’t know how to control and stabilize a city, won’t on a federal level either. So whatever the agenda is of these leaders in these unstable cities, it seems extremely counterproductive. What is interesting to me is that these leaders say that there is nothing wrong with the way these so-called protests are going on, and the violence and destruction is a proper reaction due to the injustices that are happening. Yet, Chicago Mayor, Lori Lightfoot, called the cops on protesters near her home. Protesters weren’t even violent. And she had 6 of those protesters arrested. You see, it’s okay for something to happen until it happens to you. This is the thought process of a politician who claims to care about her people. The same way these politicians and celebrities support the defunding or dismantling of the police, they have the power and the means to security, but how about the average citizen? Mind you, dismantling the police was proven to be a disaster in Seattle’s CHOP zone.
