“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” These are some of the first words in the United States Declaration of Independence. These concepts are the foundation of human rights around the world. Yet every nation, including America, seems to be losing these rights very quickly. This video is a reminder to enjoy and defend your personal liberty ― while you still have it. If you don’t, someone else will be glad to shape your fate for you. Liberty may soon become especially important for carnivores! It’s not just an inspiring word. There is nothing abstract about the forces that are trying to restrict our most basic, essential, inalienable freedoms. Thank you for standing up for yourself. By doing that, you’re defending every person’s right to be a human. Filmed in Fort Tryon Park, which was a battlefield during the American Revolutionary War.
