MicheLee Puppets's video: BTS MicheLee Puppets Creates a Silent Film to accompany The Orlando Philharmonic s Tempus Fugit

We love to partner, especially with other arts disciplines. The Orlando Philharmonic's "Young People's Concerts" opened with a musical story called "Tempus Fugit," describing how the instruments arrived to the theatre. Using Overhead projectors, and shadow puppets, MicheLee Puppets created a short film that brought these ideas to life! The orchestra played live to the film, creating a beautiful mix of visual and audio. Here Jamie Donmoyer and Julie Dansby use a long piece of transparent plastic to perform the PERCUSSION section of the piece. Gloves are worn by performers to keep fingerprints from appearing on the plastic. Tonksiford Art provided digital images that were printed onto transparency paper and combined with opaque images to bring the show to life!
