Michelle Hotchkiss's video: Salt hardened into a block How to make salt free-flowing and useful again

@Salt hardened into a block? How to make salt free-flowing and useful again.
I was recently given some beautiful pink Himalayan salt. It came in a thick paper bag and obviously had absorbed some moisture because the salt had hardened into a block! I looked up ways to get it into granular form again but the only answers were to smash it with a hammer or put it in a blender, which may pulverize it too fine and make it a powder. One morning, I was making myself a latte and topping it with nutmeg that I grate myself from a whole nutmeg (delicious, btw!) and I realized the same type of grater might work for this block of salt. I got out my large grater and gave it a go. Success! Sift out any larger pieces and either crush them to add them to hot liquids in which they will dissolve. Be sure to save your salt in a moisture free jar or container. Adding grains of rice to the salt will absorb moisture and keep the salt flowing free.
