Just discovered this amazing TV series (is a Mexican streaming television series produced by W Studios for TelevisaUnivision) and I'm amazed by this wonderful history. I have seen few Mexican series, moreover I have seen telenovelas and I haven't watched a Mexican production in several years. But let me tell you something, this production deserves your full attention. I've never seen anything with Lucero and I regret this, but I've heard it's her coming back, and what an amazing coming back to the cinema. She is just perfect for this production, the same about Jose Ron...I didn't know they were that good. Actually all the cast is beyond the words, as well as the photography and songs. In short about the plot, it is set in Mexico in the 1940s and the series follows Dionisio Pinzón, a shy town crier whose passion is cockfighting, who falls in love with Bernarda, known as La Caponera, a sensual and impulsive woman who makes a living traveling through the towns of Mexico singing at fairs.
