My dad was hit by a drunk driver and his car was totaled out, whats crazy is, my dad was the only car at the red light, so if he wasnt there to get hit, the drunk driver would have hit the other cars facing the opposite direction head on and most likely killed someone. The man was sent to jail but my father didn't press charges or sue him. As a result he lost his job as well. He didnt have a vehicle for 2 and 1/2 years, and couldnt find a good paying job due to lack of transportation.
