Wow, I found some old footage I hadn't put up of my 3rd kyu test. It's not fantasic, and now that it's 7 years and four tests later I'd critique a ton. It's funny to watch - I was teaching tae kwon do 3 nights a week and training aikido 5-6 times a week at this point. I'm CLEARLY super linear. And doing some weird stuff. But it's funny to see! If you're watching this getting ready for your test, please do not mimic this. lol. I don't have video of my 4th or 5th kyu tests. I think I was just "granted" 5th kyu for surviving west coast summer camp with Shibata shihan in 2002. And I got 4th sometime in 03. I don't even remember that test at all.
