We were stoked just to see that because the day itself was mostly going to be about strong downbursts and outflow winds later around sunset. Not an ideal kind of chase, we didn't hold out a lot of hope for anything real good, but with strong winds and drought can sometimes come a dust storm. Well, we got crazy lucky. One of the best haboobs I've seen in the last 11 years, possibly top 3. Amazing to share it with Sarah who came all the way from Kuwait, who found me years ago because we both caught viral haboob images in 2011, and we've been friends ever since. To share this with her was just kismet. She graciously let me use some of the iPhone video she shot, some of it during a live Instagram, so the quality is a bit lower in there, but hope you enjoy her perspective!
