Mike Szczys's video: Minecraft GTTE 8: Making a dungeon safe and crafting maps

Minecraft: Getting to the End Installment At the end of the last video I found a spider spawner in a dungeon. It's time to deal with it. The dungeon is full of spiders and there's a skeleton battling them. The trick to getting these things under control is to light up the area. To do so you have to kill the accumulated mobs first. Of course during the process there's a surprise waiting for me. This causes me to be quite a bit less cautious than normal but I manage to persevere. After a bit more exploring I head topside to quickly tend my farm (harvest pumpkin, cane, carrots, wheat; feed chickens and cows, and cut down the tree farm). I grab some sand to help mark my way in the caves and head back down for redstone that can be used to make a map (by way of crafting a compass and surrounding it with paper). Unfortunately the caverns take us off the map so I'll next to expand it in the next installment before doing more exploring. http://minecraft.jumptuck.com
