Hi all! During two weeks in Gando Air Base (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) a military exercise was performed by the Spanish Air Force (Ejército del Aire) and the French Air Force (Armeé de l'Air). In this exercise more than 700 military with 50 fighter jets performed missions during the morning and evening about: -Inflight Refueling. -Train Air Force Units . -Defense of National Airspace. -Air Superiority. -Inflight Refueling. -Training with our Allies. -Improved steroperability. -Exchange of tactics and procedures. -Tighten international cooperation ties. The reason this exercise is performed every year in this season of the year is the Big Canary Air Space, the possibility of Supersonic Flights, Bigger Fighter Formations, and normally a perfect weather over the Ocean.
