Great boots, both of them from 5.11 ( yes, i agree, some of their shoes are not up to date but these here are great ), the A.T.A.C. i wear already a long time on a near everyday base, got roughed up a bit, a small hole on the upper and some lace holes / attachments are gone but so comfortable, good traction / grip and kept my feet comfy after a long day during hikes / urban & mountains, in the snow and on my bike. Will see how the Tactile perform in the long run but also very comfy, a bit more breathable and good enough for a short time in ankle deep snow as well
