My hopes, my chimeras, keep on growing much brighter with the deepening of gloom. There’s much suffering inside my silence, with hidden tears and my tormented pride. Sleepless nights and partings with no solace, and dreams that have gone up in smoke and died. There is so much joy inside my madness; there’s greedy rapture and a mighty force. My heart still fears the impassive calmness as of belonging to a frigid corpse.
