Mila Gee Reads Poetry's video: E Asadov The important meeting

@Э. Асадов " Главная встреча"/E.Asadov "The important meeting"
Images: Mila Gee Music: "Space Coast" Topher Mohr and Alex Elena Scroll down for my English adaptation: The streetlamp dips its beard in the river Next to the pink shimmer of neon light. Let us go for a long walk together Through our city and talk into the night. Let couples hug on benches in the dark, Kissing between their phrases, as for us: Tonight we’ll not be kissing in the park, All that can wait, we have things to discuss. Perhaps more important this evening We’ll reveal ourselves and withhold nothing, How we’ve been living before our meeting, And what made our hearts and souls burn and sing. Let us conceal neither our good nor bad; Our deeds, passions, views, perhaps even more: Those certain things neither of us have said or dared confess to anyone before. Not for idle curiosity sake, I promise you it’s not the intention; An ambushed spark of lie may one day wake And burst forth into a conflagration. Wide open, weightless, ready to take off, Without a speck of dust or a false note, Our love will shoot towards the stars far above Where tremulous with joy it’ll stay afloat. It is only the deepest and clear springs That can give birth to true fairytale bliss, Where each word and touch is a sublime thing, As well as each glance, each sigh, and each kiss.
