In this week's video, I get real about the LDS Word of Wisdom! The Word of Wisdom is a healthcode in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (aka the Mormon Church) that commands members to abstain from certain substances including alcohol, tobacco, drugs, coffee and tea. It also encourages members to live a healthy lifestyle by consuming foods that are good for the body. Some parts of the Word of Wisdom are super clear (like don't drink alcohol), but some things can get blurred (what kinds of tea are okay to drink and what kinds aren't?). In this video I read the exact guidelines given to us and provide some personal opinions for the things that require prayerful personal interpretation. In the video I answer questions from my Instagram followers about the origins of the Word of Wisdom, caffinated soda, tea, CBD products, vegetarianism and more!
