Mina Villegas Art's video: Sky Rocket NEW Ergonomic SplitCup Experiment Amazing Acrylic Wandering Ring Pour LOVE IT

Hello Friends! Welcome back! Today we are pouring with a new toy that my Husband of Awesomeness made, and ergonomically designed Split Cup! His thought was that I was holding my wrist in an uncomfortable position, and being able to hold the cup more naturally might result in a pour that I like better. Lets try it out and see what happens! My Colors are: Amsterdam - Prussian Blue - Brilliant Blue - Pearl Blue plus Titanium White - Permanent Blue Violet - Permanent Magenta -DecoArt Americana Decor Metallics - 24K Gold Pouring Medium: Liquitex Gloss Medium Paint + a bit of Water Floetrol There is NO Silicone in Any of My Paint. I layer the 5 chambers of the split cup with contasting colors and pour them into a stretched out puddle of gold. My paint is much thinner than I usually like it, and that is because I tried this once before with my regular consistency ( mound on a mound) but felt like it was too thick. So today my paints are thinner, lets see what happens. I pour the cup in a wandering ring pour pattern, going back and forth in long lines. I am a bit concerned that my paint may be too thin to hold the shape of the really cool pattern, but it actually worked out really well. I managed to stretch out the pour while keeping most of the lines intact. Some beautiful gold cells popped up while it was drying, to me they give this piece a very celebratory feeling, like fireworks going off against a dark sky. I love the way this one turned out! HoA says it feels like oceans or waves to him, but to me its fireworks. I have asked HoA to create another incarnation of this split cup, maybe a bit bigger and with only 4 chambers instead of 5. As I was layering the chambers of this one I felt they were a bit narrow and the paint I was adding was sloshing over into the other chambers if I wasnt being very careful. I think 4 chambers would allow a bit more room and simplify the layering process. We'll see what happens. Thank you all so much for being here with us today!
