Acrylic Pour Painting Fluid Abstract Art Ring Pour Using Bright Magenta & 24K Gold Gorgeous Payne's Gray Prussian Blue Hello Friends and welcome back to a beautiful day in the garden! It was lovely and quiet here all morning, until we started recording, and then it seemed like there were helicopters, planes and leaf blowers going non stop. I apologize, we have tried to limit that distraction as much as possible. Colors Liquitex Basics - Magenta Arteza - Pearl Glacier Blue Golden's - Payne's Gray - Prussian Blue DecoArt Americana Decor Metallics - 24K Gold Drips from Enchanted My Pouring Medium is: MiX by Karpata.Art (www.Karpata.Art) There is NO Silicone in Any of My Paint. The other day I saw Gina DeLuca do a pour using magenta that she had mixed with a little bit of Burnt Umber.. it was a beautiful color made me think about the reasons that I dont usually use magenta.. so I decided to use it and try to counteract the things I dont like much about it, namely it being very bright. I layer my cup carefully down the side, keeping contrast in mind. Im using the gold and the Glacier Blue in between the darker colors and Im sandwiching the magenta between the Blue and the darker Violet drips. I use my Payne's Gray as a thinned out flow extender and go around the pour, then tilt it to cover the canvas. Its really pretty, I like it! The one thing Im not crazy about is the color if the drips, it looks a bit muddied than I like. Its not bad, it's a pretty silvery purple grey, but I was hoping for more of the blue. Once its dry, I can still see that slightly muddy drip color, but the composition is good. There are beautifully defined lines and I like that the magenta is thin lines in between the darker colors. It makes the magenta pop but its not taking over. I love the light blue area in the center, where the Glacier Blue mixed with the darker blue, gorgeous!
