Acrylic Pouring Painting Fluid Abstract Art Gardener's Pour Mini Leafblower Pour 36x36 Hello Friends! Welcome back! Tonight I want to explore the Gardener's Pour, my version of a Dutch Pour. My Colors are: Liquitex Basics - Pthalocyanine Blue Arteza - Viridian Green Golden's - Turquoise Phthalo - Green Gold DecoArt Americana Decor Metallics - 24K Gold Blickrylic Economy Acrylic Polymer - White plus some DecoArt Satin Enamels - Pure White Pouring Medium: Liquitex Gloss Medium Water Floetrol There is NO Silicone in Any of My Paint. In Feeling Groovy I was learning how much paint I needed on the canvas, and I realize I had way too much paint for that one. Tonight I'm using much much less paint, and doing things with intention rather than by chance. I start out with a white basecoat, then transfer some paint into smaller paper cups so I can better control how much paint I put on the canvas. Then I lay down a few ribbons of color in a corner and blow those out. I turn the canvas and do the same to another corner. Im keeping the blower speed very low intentionally, the moment of the paint is so beautiful! I work my way around the canvas, and leave some negative space on a few corners for more contrast. I love the soft blue along the edges, and there are so many beautiful cells! I could have played with this one for another hour, adding little bits of color here and there.. but I decided to stop so that I wouldn't blend everything.. I like how this turned out for the most part, but I want to play with the layering of the paints on the canvas more to determine and influence composition. It's lots of fun lol!
