Broccoli is among the first veggies of the season that you'll be able to harvest fresh from the garden. Harvest broccoli (which is actually a group of tightly packed flower buds) when the head no longer increases in size but is still dense with green buds. Check out the full video for all of our tips on harvesting broccoli 🥦 Unfortunately, hot spells with temperatures in the 80s for more than a week can cause broccoli to flower. This means you'll want to harvest broccoli at the first sign the buds are opening. (Hint: You'll notice the head turning yellow.) Don't worry if you waited too long to harvest. All is not lost!
