Jerry Lane is retired carpenter and foreman supervisor who earned a masters degree in creative writing from San Francisco State University. During the Vietnam War, he served as a platoon commander for the U.S. Marines. Jerry has transmitted several hundred lessons from beings known as “Christ Michael” and “Mother Spirit” over many years. Their best lessons are collected in his Adventure of Being Human series of books. The Adventure of Being Human (Origin Press, 2012) is Jerry’s first book, covering lessons that he received from both beings. The Adventure of Being Human: Mother Spirit Speaks (Origin Press, 2015) provides a selection of another set of these transmissions, only this time exclusively from Mother Spirit. Her career ranged from City Planning to photography, ultimately creating a niche for herself as a single parent as the owner/director of a preschool in Venice, Ca. Margaret also has a private practice as a psychotherapist. She has just published her first book, a memoir called Naked in the Woods – My Unexpected Years in a Hippie Commune.
