Kohina Ichimatsu es una niña de la escuela primaria sin expresión que vive sola, se proclama a sí misma como una muñeca, y no come nada mas que fideos instantáneos. Un día, ella juega el juego Kokkuri e invoca al espíritu de zorro de bajo nivel del folclore japonés Kokkuri-san, que, al ver su estilo de vida poco saludable, toma a sí mismo para convertirse en su tutor y criarla correctamente. Así comienza la nueva vida de Kohina de ser perseguido por varios espíritus únicos. Basado en el manga de Midori Endo.
