I want to say a sincere thank you to the literal thousands of you who congratulated me on my engagement recently. I could not respond to each one of you even in my best effort, but please know I feel so blessed to be surrounded by so much genuine love and support. I do not take it lightly at all. As some of you have noticed and reached out to me in concern, I've been a bit MIA over these past three weeks. Sadly, this post is to share the heartbreaking news that my engagement ended very shortly after it began due to circumstances beyond anything I could have ever anticipated. This has been the most trying time of my life with more pain than what seems manageable most days. However, I am doing my best to move forward with my life and heal which is why I am sharing the news at this time. Ways that you can support me in this season: - Not requesting details.. when the time is right and God turns this thing into a testimony, I will share what he leads me to share for his glory alone and to be a blessing to others - Responding to texts, calls, and DMs about this situation can feel overwhelming very quick. So I'd instead appreciate your prayers if/when God lays my name on your heart. - I'm accepting every ounce of love and hugs for the foreseeable future if you feel so led when you see me I hope whatever dark season you may find yourself in, you hold on to even the smallest bit of hope that lingers. Even if it seems impossible to believe. My greatest security is knowing that I serve a God who has shown Himself to be faithful and who is in the habit of making beauty from ashes. He wastes nothing.
