MissEleanorVane's video: Black Sails Ladies I Won t Go Speechless

Here we go again for a new video on Black Sails lol. Told you, it this will last a little while, but my collabs should vary the content ! But this time, we're here for all the incredible women of this show. Almost everyone have edited this song after the release of Aladdin's movie and I totally get why lol, this song is wonderful, and I wanted to edit it too, but I wanted something that hadn't been done yet. I first thought of editing this song just for the character of Max, but then I noticed that there were too many good bits for the other women of Black Sails and so... here is the result! I'm kinda proud of this one. No, I'm lying, I'm FUCKING proud of this one (fuck modesty lol). And I have so much fun to edit all the girls of this amazing show, that's not something I do often and it's a shame, because all of these women are incredible. Some clarification, however : - I wanted to put more Idelle, but I just couldn't find other scenes that suited me for her character and this song. I'm still glad that I manage to put her at least in one scene lol. Her most iconic scene. - I also wanted to put Marion Guthrie, but then again, I just didn't see where I could put her, so I decided to sacrifice her to highlight the other characters whose scenes inspired me more for the song. The same goes for the Maroon Queen. - Mrs. Hudson is not there, and it's a deliberate choice because she is the only female character for whom I have a real hatred in Black Sails. I find this character horrible (remember that it was because of her lie about the Spanish that Charles was captured) and useless, her only utlity was to approve and encourage the submission of Eleanor, and tell Rogers how much Eleanor loved him (LOL you don't know Eleanor, so stop talking on her behalf), and it just disgusted me of every scene with that damn woman. Rather die than put her here. The end has a special meaning for me, and it's a little bitter. By putting these scenes showing both Eleanor who is dying saying that she is trying to save Madi, then showing Madi who is cold and disappointed with John, it shows that, in a way... Eleanor "failed" to save Madi because when you think about it, even if John is in no close AT ALL to the man that Rogers was, Madi is still going to end her life as a wife and nothing more (if we follow what The Island Treasure then says, and given the end of Black Sails for Madi and John, I think it definitely takes that way), and when you see the bitterness between John and Madi at the end, it's not really a victory for Madi. Although I want to make it clear that I am not one of those who hate John for what he has done (even if I understand why you hate him guys). I totally disapprove what he did, he imposed his will on Madi and Flint and he had no right to do that... but what he did is no worse than Flint murdering Gates to achieve his own vision of Nassau, not worse than Eleanor hanging Vane to realize her own vision of Nassau.
